Privacy
We don't collect your account information, and this page spells out what we do collectWhat this site does and doesn't collect, and whether we use analytics and cookies.
·What we never collect
This is a static educational site with no login and no account system. We never will, and we have no form that could, collect any of the following from you: platform passwords, codes, two-factor (2FA) codes, recovery phrases, private keys, KYC documents, or exchange API keys. Any page or email that asks you for these is not us, so stay alert.
·What we collect
- Google Analytics visit statistics: these show us which guides get read and which don't. The data is summed up by page and not used to identify you. It is on by default and writes Google Analytics cookies in your browser when a page opens. If you visit from an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom or Turkey, no analytics cookies are written by default, and only visit records without cookies are sent. Your IP address is anonymized. For how Google uses data that websites send it, see Google's explanation.
- Cloudflare visit statistics: the site is served through Cloudflare, which counts page views and measures loading speed. It sets no cookies and doesn't follow you across other sites.
- Web fonts: the text uses fonts from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser downloads the font files straight from Google's servers, and that request carries your IP address and browser details.
- Emails you send us: if you write in with feedback, we'll see your email address and your message, used only to reply to you.
·How to turn off analytics on this site
Two ways; either one works:
- This site only: click the button below. After that, when you open this site in this browser, Google Analytics writes no cookies and sends no visit records at all. The choice is stored only in the browser on your device, so after switching browser or device, or clearing this site's data, click it again.
- Every site: install Google's own Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on; once it is installed, no site using Google Analytics will measure your visits in that browser.
·About cookies
The site itself doesn't need cookies to show you anything. The only cookies it writes are Google Analytics ones: on by default, and off by default in EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom and Turkey; you can turn them off with either method in the section above. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser at any time and still read the site normally.
·Third parties and external links
This site links to external websites (such as an exchange's official page). Once you leave this site, your information is governed by the other party's privacy policy, which has nothing to do with us. Only enter account information on the platform's own pages.
